Atisha Centre is located about 15 minutes North West of Bendigo CBD, on Sandhurst Town Road, just off the corner of Allies Road.

Driving From Bendigo CBD
At the
Charring Cross Fountain intersection in the CBD of Bendigo,
turn left and travel up View Street and turn left at the first traffic
lights into Barnard Street, then at the next set of traffic lights
turn right and travel up Eaglehawk Road, travelling until you reach
Eaglehawk.
At the Eaglehawk Town Hall, take the left fork of the road onto the
Loddon Valley Highway (B260 to Kerang and Swan Hill), and travel a few kilometres then turn left into
Allies Road next to the Allies Hotel. You will cross the railway line.
Travel up Allies Road a few kilometres and turn right into Sandhurst Town
Road, then the first left into the entrance road up to Atisha Centre.
Alternative:
The centre can be approached via the Calder Highway (A79 to Mildura).
- Travelling north on the Calder (Alternative) Highway (NB. This bypasses the Bendigo CBD), turn right at Marong and immediately left onto Allies Road then turn left onto Sandhurst Town Road.
There is a signpost for Atisha Centre at the corner of Sandhurst Town Road.
Once you are in Sandhurst Town Road, turn left into the first driveway, through the gate and follow the signs to Atisha Office, reception and parking area.

Public Transport
To Atisha Centre by bus from Bendigo
There are no buses to Atisha Centre. The closest bus stop is the
Maiden Gully Post Office which is approximately 3 km from the centre.
Alternatively buses run to Eaglehawk and a taxi could be taken from that
point to Atisha Centre.
Train
V-line trains run from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Bendigo, approximately hourly on weekdays and about every 90 minutes on weekends. The cost of tickets varies according to whether you travel on regular commuter or inter-city services.

Fly into Melbourne Tullamarine International Airport. This airport is just under 2 hours drive from Atisha Centre.

The Bendigo Airport shuttle runs five return services each week day and three services on Saturday and Sunday from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport to Bendigo Railway station. For timetables, fares and bookings, see

From both Tullamarine and Avalon Airport there is a bus service into Melbourne CBD, which stops at Southern Cross Station, from where trains leave for Bendigo. Bookings are not required for this bus, and the cost is about $20.00 one way.

For people arriving at Bendigo railway station by train or airport shuttle, a Taxi to Atisha Centre will take about 15 minutes and cost $20+.
